I Built Two Platforms Simultaneously in 26 Days. Here's What I Learned.

26 Days. Two Complete Platforms.

Two complete platforms. Simultaneously. For the same client.

The first: a B2B webshop with more than 3,000 products. Full assortment, payments, shipping — the whole package. WooCommerce as a base, but heavily customized.

The second: a completely custom platform. From an empty folder. Laravel backend, Progressive Web App for drivers, barcode scanning, route management, client portals, admin dashboards. Everything from scratch.

No team of 12. No 3-hour sprint plannings. No Jira board with 200 tickets. Just building.

Three Radically Different Choices

Choice 1: AI for Everything AI Does Well

Product descriptions. Category structures. First drafts. I didn't write 3,000+ product descriptions by hand. Nobody should have to in 2026.

Choice 2: No Unnecessary Meetings

Short lines, fast decisions. Most time on projects doesn't go to building — it goes to meetings, waiting, and more meetings.

Choice 3: Focus on What Matters

Conversion. Speed. Findability. Functionality that makes work easier. No fancy animations that add load time and generate exactly 0 extra sales.

What I Learned

When you eliminate overhead, you can do in 26 days what others take 6 months for. That's not a flex. That's an indication of how inefficient the standard model is.

Both platforms are now being extensively tested with real users. Drivers are scanning. Admins are managing. Customers are ordering. And every day it gets better.
